Photography.
In this photo it shows Amyy with a cigarette just about to be lit. I took this photo because i thought it just generally looked as if it would be a good photo and it turnt out pretty well. Above as you can see ive edited the photo to become black and white but also adding edge blur to the sides and changing the saturation and contrast the smallest bit. I think the edited photo makes it stand out more as you can see it better because its too bright in parts on the original.

Photography.
Here is another photo of Tom.
This was taken when he was getting pictures of the Smoking Area, while he was taking it i thought it looked as if it would be a good shot to take
I edited this photo by cutting it down smaller and making it black and white then sharpening it. I think it makes it look more unique and different to the original.

Tom Eldridge
This photo was taken in class when we were just about to get the camera's and get some photo's around the college.
I edited the phot by just sharpening it and making it a little bit brighter to bring out the photo more, i personally think it looks better than the original because you can see it more and it just looks generally better.

Photography.
In this photo it is showing a picture of myself which i took by timing it and doing a seperate pose to show something that i do. I changed the imagine (as shown above) by cropping it down into a smaller image so you can see more of me rather than the background aswell. I cropped the image to make it more obvious what i am doing just in case people didnt know what it was.

Photo Theory
Capture - Reflected light from an object passed into a camera and then onto a light sensitive surface
Process - The captured image is turned into something we can see
Store - The image is put onto something we can keep such as a printed photograph
Analogue Photography
USB - Usb is a physical connection used by cameras and scanners, this is the fastest option
Removable Card - Images captured can be stored and put on a removable card
Wifi - Some cameras use wifi technology to send digitally to a computer
Jpeg - The group who set these standards for digital photo compression jpeg quality is sacrificed by the reduction in size, which strips away the quality
File Type
Bitmat Graphics format - .Bmp - Used internally by the microsoft windows graphics subsystem
Pict - .Pct - Introduced by Apple Macintosh computers it is the original standard image file
Tagged image file format - .Tif - To store high colour images
Photoshop Doc - .Psd - To edit digital images in adobe photoshop
Graphics interchange format - .Gif - Introduced by the compuserve ow has widespread use on computers

Photo Ethics
This photo was taken in 1968 just after the Tet Offense in the Vietnam War. There are many meanings to this photo, where different people would think it is something to do with him not liking the person he is killing others will think more deeply to believe he is a prisoner and is being executed on the streets in Vietnam. Eddie Adams the taker of this iconic photo said it was exactly at the point where the bullet had gone through his head.

Photo Journalism Intro
Photo Journalism is something that shows a meaning or many different meanings from just a still image. E.g a simple shot of something can be shown or spoke about in many different ways.
